Easy Kitchen Towels in IL084 Linen Fabric
YOU WILL NEED
- 3 yards of IL084 100% linen fabric.
- You can also use our IL085 jacquard weave too!
- Matching thread
SEWING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut the cloth in 27” increments - this will be 1 towel
2. Hem the edges - fold under half inch twice and secure it with sewing pins. You can also add a loop if you like hanging your towels ( twill tape does the trick).
3. Stitch the hem - I used the sewing machine for speed and durability, but you can even do the stitching by hand.
4. Throw them in the wash - warm water with regular detergent - just like you usually wash your kitchen towels. Then dry in the dryer ( the cloth will shrink about 10% on the first wash and dry).
No need to hem the side edges (selvedges) as they won't fray and lay flat :)
