Our linen is grown and processed throughout Eastern Europe. All our fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified. The OEKO-TEX organization tests our products for over 100 harmful toxins and chemicals before approving them for public use. This is known as Standard 100 and you can read more about it here: https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/
Some of our fabrics are dyed in the United States at our dye house in Los Angeles. All our dyes are environmentally friendly, and AZO-free.
Linen is made from the flax plant which is a natural fiber but our products are currently not certified Organic. Environmental sustainability is just one facet of being truly sustainable. We also believe that social sustainability, the way we treat our employees and the people involved in creating our linen, is just as important as the way we treat our environment.
Independent evaluators randomly audit various aspects of production to assess the manufacturing process against requirements set forth by the relevant European and American government standards.
